Elan Technology Glass Materials
Elan 05 is our substitute glass materials for Corning 9010 ( Elan 11 ). The composition of the glass contains a small amount of lead that brings several benefits over its 9013 ( Elan 09) counterpart; improved wettability, better electrical resistance, and lower energy requirements. Glass materials applications range from defense to commercial as hermetic compression seals for feedthroughs and connectors.
